You can create a PDF bundle in Compact+ by attaching the required documents to a memo using the BD – Manual Bundle phrase. Compact+ then combines the selected documents into a single PDF, which is saved to the case History.
When to use this
Use this process when you need to:
Create a bundle for court.
Combine multiple case documents into one PDF.
Convert a single History entry into a PDF.
Include documents from the case History, Library, or outside Compact+.
Create a PDF bundle
Open Compact+ Desktop.
Enter the case containing the documents you want to include.
Select the Produce a memo action.
Set the correspondent as Client.
Select the phrase BD – Manual Bundle.
Select ATTACH at the bottom of the window.
In the attachment window, select the document you want to include from the top half of the window.
Select the down arrow to move the document into Selected documents.
Repeat this process for each document you want to include in the bundle.
To remove a document from the bundle, select it from the Selected documents pane and select the up arrow.
To include documents from the Library, select the Library tab and add the required items.
To include documents from outside Compact+, such as files saved on your desktop, select the yellow folder icon.
Use the bundle layout options beside the Selected documents pane to arrange the bundle. For example, use the up and down arrows to reorder documents. This order determines the final order in the PDF.
Use the additional formatting options at the bottom of the screen if required.
Select the Accept tick at the bottom-right of the window.
Select ACCEPT on the Memo window.
Compact+ combines the selected documents into a single PDF. When the routine has finished, the PDF is available in the case History.
Important
Check the order of documents in the Selected documents pane before accepting. The order shown there determines the order of the final PDF bundle.
